Revisiting the Youth Chef Academy

My first time going to the Great Lakes Youth Chef Academy came back without any pictures of the school.  Today I went out and photographed the beginning of a week of a celebrity Emeril, Rachel Ray, etc... cooking week.  The young chefs get to prepare signature dishes from each celebrity chef.  It was interesting to see these kids cook more complicated things then I would ever tackle.  For example, last week they made homemade spaghetti and pasta sauce.  These kids go through the challenge of learning the ways of cooking and how to prepare dishes in their own home.  Most of the kids were 8-11 years old.  Pretty young and devoted to be preparing complicated signature dishes.  Start them off early and soon they will be professional chefs when they grow up!
